By booking, paying for, participating and/or being a part of a tour or any event (as a passenger, guest or otherwise) promoted, created, managed, administered or otherwise facilitated with MYTRAVEL (a brand of BTTM), You (as that term is defined herein) agree to and accept the following terms and conditions. This agreement is between You, the participating passenger(s), the person or entity who booked and/or is paying MYTRAVEL and/or or any agent that is booking and/or paying MYTRAVEL in your or any passenger’s name (henceforth individually and collectively referred to as “You” or “Your”) and BTTM, Barbara Kranjec s.p., Bežigrad 15, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (henceforth referred to as “BTTM”).
- BOOKING AND PAYMENTS
1.1 To make a booking for or otherwise participate and/or be a part of any BTTM tour or event, You hereby agree to the terms and conditions listed below. Your reservation is not guaranteed until You receive a confirmation from BTTM. BTTM accepts a booking on the understanding that full payment has been/will be collected and held either by BTTM directly, or by one of our authorized sales agents or partners.
1.2 Upon confirmation from BTTM, BTTM will reserve a space for You on the selected trip or event. It is Your sole responsibility to check the accuracy of the booking and the dates of travel. BTTM reserve the right to accept or reject any booking for any reason, including but not limited to Your failure to make timely payments to BTTM, Your cancellation or rescheduling of the trip or event or the lack of space on the desired trip or event.
1.3 Once Your online booking is complete in all respects, BTTM will issue You a confirmation voucher and send it to the email address You have provided. Please contact us if You do not receive a booking confirmation, as it might mean that Your order has not been successfully processed or there are internet communication problems. If You do not receive a written confirmation, please check Your junk email folder to see if the email has landed there, then please also check that the email address You entered was indeed the correct one. If You have not received the written confirmation from BTTM, please email us at mytravel@mytravelslo.com giving us Your full name, the tour or event You booked (including as much specifics (time, date, etc.) as possible) and request that BTTM resend You the confirmation voucher.
1.4 We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
1.5 By booking any product through the BTTM website, You grant BTTM permission to contact You directly by email.
- DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
2.1 BTTM offers day trips, weekend breaks, specials, day trips packages and tours with transportation, professional guides, attraction fees as stated in day trip’s itinerary.
2.2. Weekend breaks and tours can be booked with accommodation, which is, upon agreement with You, booked by BTTM and provided by a third party – accommodation providers.
- CONTRACTING PARTIES
3.1 The booking conditions detailed herein contain the entire contract between You and BTTM. No representation, term, warranty or condition can be expressed or implied by reference to any other writing, advertisement or conversation.
3.2 Your contract is with BTTM. BTTM reserves the right to nominate to you in writing any other company or person to have the benefit of some or all of the provisions of this contract, which BTTM may then specify, as if you had agreed to the provisions concerned directly with that company or person.
3.3 In case BTTM acts as a booking agent and contracts directly with coaches, boats, hostels, hotels and other service providers (individually and collectively the “Other Providers”), all bookings with the Other Providers are subject to their terms and conditions and limitations of liability and BTTM makes no warranties or representations or assumes any liability in connection with the activities of the Other Providers. It is important to note that some of the Other Provider may limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage. BTTM does not accept any responsibility for any loss as a result of such actions or as a result of any act or omission of the Other Providers and You agree that BTTM is not responsible for the acts or omissions of the Other Providers.
3.4 The accommodation arrangements provided by BTTM are contracted to Other Providers. They are subject to the terms and conditions, and limitations of liability, imposed by the Other Providers. All arrangements are made independently of BTTM, regardless of the booking of such arrangements by BTTM.
- PASSENGER RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 It is Your responsibility to make sure you have a valid passport, and all necessary visas, permits or certificates on Your person for Your selected trip. BTTM is not liable for any problems, delays or denied entry in the event You are not in possession of valid travel documents.
4.2 EU nationals holding a passport or national ID card are not required to show a passport or national ID card if travelling from one border-free Schengen country. For Australian, British, Canadian or American nationals it is required to hold a passport valid for three months beyond the length of stay and issued within the past 10 years. Croatia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Ireland, Romania and the UK are not a part of the Schengen area, so a passport or ID card is required if travelling to/from these countries.
In case You are not sure whether you need a visa to enter the Republic of Slovenia, check with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Third-country nationals must hold a visa in order to enter the Republic of Slovenia.
4.2 You agree to comply with the authority and direction of the BTTM guides or BTTM office support, and the laws and regulations of the countries visited, including customs and foreign exchange restrictions.
4.3 There may be times when the BTTM guide must make a decision for the safety and/or the best interests of the group. It is a condition of booking that You comply with the authority and decisions of the BTTM guide and You do agree to comply with such authority and decisions. If You do not comply, or if in the good faith opinion of the BTTM guide You are not compatible with the general enjoyment of the group or the smooth operation of the tour (for reasons including but not limited to intoxication, lewd or inappropriate language or behavior, etc.), BTTM reserves the right to refuse to allow You to continue with the tour or the event. You agree that BTTM has the exclusive right to dispel and remove You from a tour or event anytime, without any claims or complaints by You against BTTM. In such a case BTTM will not be liable for any refund, compensation, or additional costs incurred by You.
4.4 It is Your responsibility to meet the transportation provided by BTTM at the correct time and location for departure. In the event You miss a planned departure, any extra travel costs incurred are Your sole responsibility and paid by You. Passengers who miss a departure time due to delay or cancellation of incoming transportation are not entitled to a refund. It is Your responsibility to check in with the BTTM office 15 minutes prior to the specified departure time/start of the event. Due to the nature of the services provided, BTTM will not be liable for any damage or costs You may incur if any service departs, starts, arrives or ends later than the specified time, even if as a result You miss a connecting service or some other scheduled event.
4.5 BTTM is not responsible for Your personal belongings. It is Your sole responsibility to look after Your belongings yourself. You agree that BTTM is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any of Your personal belongings, regardless of the circumstances.
4.6 The products offered by BTTM are day trips, city breaks, specials and tours consisting of transportation, guidance and (if arranged) accommodation. BTTM guides cannot offer constant special attention or assistance should You have any physical disability requiring such attention without prior arrangement. In such circumstances, it is within BTTM rights to refuse to allow You to continue with the tour of the event.
Any disability requiring special attention must be reported at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of disabled participants; however we are not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, motor coaches, mini buses, vans and cars are note quipped with wheelchair ramps. We cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member for walking, dining, getting on/off transportation vehicles, or other personal needs.
Tour participants who need assistance must be accompanied by a qualified and physically able companion.
4.7 You agree that BTTM may take photographs and films of You while You are participating on a BTTM trip. You agree that these photographs and films may be used for marketing and promotional purposes by BTTM. These photographs and films may be used in, but are not limited to, brochures, websites, print media and promotional videos. These photographs and films may be used for publicity and advertising without BTTM obtaining further consent from You or making any payment to You in connection with the permitted uses.
4.8 The minimum age of tour participants for multi-day tours around Slovenia is 15 years. The age limit does not apply to one-day trips around Croatian Istria. Tour participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- LOCAL PROVIDERS
5.1 You will have the opportunity to purchase from BTTM services from local providers at Your chosen destination. These services are not included in the price of your travel package (unless otherwise stated). You are responsible for any additional costs.
5.2 Services from local providers purchased by You are run by local operators and You are subject to their terms and conditions.
5.3 Services from local providers purchased through BTTM are non-refundable and non-transferable. It is Your responsibility to meet the tour or event at the designated departure point and time.
5.4 It is Your responsibility to keep track of any local providers’ vouchers or tickets issued to You by BTTM. Lost vouchers or tickets cannot be replaced.
- INSURANCE
6.1 There is no travel insurance included in the cost of any BTTM tour, event or package, ticket or product. You acknowledge that any insurance that You wish to obtain in connection with any BTTM tour, event or package is Your sole responsibility.
6.2 Nevertheless, BTTM highly recommends that You purchase Your own travel insurance that covers all of Your travels. BTTM strongly recommends that You are covered by a comprehensive insurance policy which includes: personal accident, medical expenses, personal baggage, money and public liability.
6.3 Travel Guarantee. Our company is insured for insolvency. This guarantees the amount that You paid in booking Your travel package as well as Your repatriation in the event of insolvency by BTTM. You agree that this the only amounts that BTTM is liable to pay to You in connection with the tour, event or package that You book.
- WEATHER, ENVIRONMENTAL AND POLITICAL CONDITIONS
7.1 BTTM is not responsible for any delay, deviation, or cancellation due to weather conditions. No trip may be cancelled or changed by You at anytime on the basis of weather conditions.
7.2 BTTM is not responsible for delays due to labor disputes, border problems or other political factors.
7.3 BTTM is not responsible for delays due to mechanical failure, or other issues that may arise and are outside of BTTM’ control.
- CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES
8.1 Depending on the time of cancellation the following cancellation costs apply:
For multiple day tours and private multiple day tours:
100% of the deposit will be refunded for cancellations no later than 61 days before your arrival.
90% of the deposit will be refunded for cancellations between 60-31 days before your arrival
70% of the deposit will be refunded for cancellations between 30-8 days before your arrival
50% of the deposit will be refunded for cancellations between 7-3 days before your arrival
None (0%) of the deposit will be refunded for cancellation on less than 72 hours’ notice before your arrival or no-show.
The cancellation is confirmed when you receive BTTM or MYTRAVEL notice of cancellation. Please contact us if You do not receive a cancellation confirmation, as it might mean that Your order has not been successfully processed or there are internet communication problems. For scheduled small group one-day trips:
100% of the deposit will be refunded for cancellations up to 48 hours before departure.
None (0%) of the deposit will be refunded for cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice before the departure or no-show.
Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to the e-mail address: mytravel@mytavelslo.com. Cancellation is confirmed when you receive an e-mail confirmation of cancellation from BTTM.
The value of the transaction may be subject to taxes, duties, foreign transaction, currency exchange or other fees. Your bank or credit or debit card company may convert the payment into the local currency and charge fees, resulting in differences between the amount displayed on mytravelslo.com and MYTRAVEL affiliated websites, and the final amount charged to your bank account or credit or debit card statement. Please contact your bank or card company if you have any questions concerning any applicable conversion or fees.
8.2 No refunds will be made in respect of any unused portion of a ticket or partially completed trip.
8.3 Although unlikely, one-day trips (only applies to one-day trips booked as a one-day trip, does not apply to multiple day tours) may be canceled/changed by BTTM due to lack of the minimum number of participants or other unforeseen circumstances. BTTM reserves the right to cancel/change tours up to but not more than 12 hours prior to the time of departure. In the event a tour is canceled/changed, You will be notified via email or phone. In the event of a cancellation by BTTM You will receive a full refund for the amount paid.
8.4 Should You not be able to attend a tour or event, or we are unable to offer a tour or event, due to a circumstance beyond our control or a force majeure event, BTTM has no responsibility for tour cancellations, and You will not be entitled to any refunds.
- COMPLAINTS PERIOD
9.1. You must notify BTTM in the shortest amount of time possible of any irregularities that might occur during a tour or event. BTTM’ responsibility is to eliminate any such irregularity in the shortest amount of time possible.
9.2. In the event that any irregularities were not eliminated on the spot, You can complain and request a refund or compensation after completion of a tour or event. You need to file a complaint in written form in no more than two (2) months after completion of a tour or event.

- APPLICABLE LAW & JURISDICTION
11.1. BTTM services are governed exclusively by the substantive laws of the Republic of Slovenia to the exclusion of conflict of law legislation as well as international law. The courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia, shall have exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes. To the extent permitted by law, the courts of Ljubljana shall be competent.
- PRIVACY POLICY
12.1. BTTM respects the privacy of the visitors of its website and ensures that personal information you submit to us will be treated confidentially. Processing of personal data is carried out in agreement with the requirements set by the Personal Data Privacy Law of the Republic of Slovenia.
- FINAL PREMISES
13.1. Participation in any of our tours, events and/or services is strictly voluntary. As in all human endeavors, there is a level of risk. We do our best to keep the risk at a minimum. BTTM, its contractors, parent and subsidiary companies, and employees assume no liability or responsibility for any injury, loss, damage, inconvenience, sustained by any person using its services. We will not be held in any way responsible for injuries to body, person, or property incurred during the tour. We reserve the right to deny participation to anyone for any reason at any time. - Personal information I Collect
To fulfill your order, you must provide me with certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the service/product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order of service/product, for example), if you contact me directly.
- Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfill your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction.
